By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Residents of Bellingham will have 16-articles to decide on when they attend a Special Town Meeting scheduled for next month. A report done by the seven-member Finance Committee reveals recommendations of approval for two of the more costly articles, including Article 5, which is asking voters to approve some 13-projects listed under capital outlay. These projects, most from the department of public works, need 50-thousand dollars or more to complete necessary work. Many of those deal with water main replacements around town. Article 10 is asking Bellingham residents to appropriate a sum of money for the construction of the proposed Wethersfield “West” Sewer collection system, approved by selectmen. The Finance Committee voted 3-1 in favor of passage of the article at the Special Town Meeting, which is set for Wednesday night October 11th at the Bellingham High School, beginning at 7:30.
