Paul F. Carr, 82, of Medway and formerly Norton

Paul F. Carr, 82, of Medway and formerly Norton passed away Sat. Feb. 4, 2017 in Medway Country Manor, Medway. He was the husband of the late Mary Anne (Broderick) Carr who died in 2008.

He was born in Boston in 1934 the son of the late George Carr and Alice McTernan and was raised in Jamaica Plain and was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School.

Mr. Carr was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service at South Station in Boston. Previously his route was Kenmore Square. A resident of Norton for over 35 years, he later moved to Milford and Medway. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion – Jamaica Plain Post.

He loved time spent with his grandchildren, watching college football, keeping up on all Boston College Football stats, and always taking time to enjoy a good cup of coffee and an occasional sweet.

Paul is survived by his daughter Dawn M. and her husband Ralph Lewis of Milford and two grandchildren Joshua and Jayla Lewis.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday Feb. 8, 2017 from 5 – 8 PM in the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St, Milford. 

Funeral services and burial will be private.
