By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Nomination papers will become available beginning this morning for the Biennial Town Election in Franklin. Town Clerk Teresa Burr says her office will have papers available for 21 town positions up for a vote in November. All nine town council seats and all seven school committee seats will be up for grabs, all are two-year terms. There is also three-seats on the Planning Board, all are four-year terms as are two other open positions on the Board of Health and Board of Assessors. Burr says residents will need to pick-up nomination papers and file them by early September in order to have their name appear on the ballot for the general election on November 7th.
