Nancy I. (Brousseau) Marshall, 85, formerly of South Grafton passed away Mon. July 3, 2017 surrounded by her family during her last day’s. She was the wife of the late Leroy A. Marshall who died in 2004. Nancy had been the general manager at Howard Johnson’s and the Ground Round Restaurant in Shrewsbury for 35 years before retiring in 2002. She was born in Grafton the daughter of the late Walter and Beatrice S. (Boulais) Brousseau and had been a lifelong resident of South Grafton. Nancy was an active member of St. James Church in South Grafton where she was a volunteer and on the bereavement committee. She enjoyed her family, camping, shopping and traveling.

She is survived by her sons, Leroy A. and his wife Karen Marshall, Jr. of Worcester and Richard P. and his wife Kelly Marshall of Loretto, PA, her brother, Robert Brousseau of Shewsbury; her sister, Elaine M. Villiard of Cumberland, RI, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Whitney Place, the nursing staff of “Right At Home” and the VNA Hospice & Pallative Care personnel for their compassionate care of Nancy during her illness. Visiting hours will be held Fri. July 7, 2017 from 5-7 PM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 480 Church St., Whitinsville. Funeral services will be held Sat. July 8, 2017 at 9 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. James Church, 89 Main St., Grafton. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Millbury St., Grafton, Memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice and Pallative Care, Fund Dev.
