Mr. Robert M. Tocchi Jr., 38, of Milford MA, died unexpectedly on Tuesday (June 20, 2017) at the Milford Regional Medical Center.
Rob was born in Framingham MA, the son of Robert M. and Stephanie (Gonsalves) Tocchi, of Milford MA. He attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School, Class of 1996. He was also a graduate of MassBay Community College, Class of 1999.
Rob was first employed as a carpenter for Superior Sidewall Company of Milford. He then moved to San Diego CA, where he was employed as a salesman for Do It Smarter software company. In 2004 he returned home to Milford, where he has been employed as a carpenter in the construction industry.
Rob was an avid golfer and loved playing cards, especially poker. He was a dedicated Boston Celtics fan and also enjoyed traveling. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family in Onset and adored his dog, “Kobe”.
Along with his beloved parents he is survived by his sisters: Melanie, wife of Tom Burns of Milford MA and their children Griffin, Spencer and Dylan, and Rebecca, wife of Stephen Kiley of Holliston MA and their children Grady and Jordan; also several aunts & uncles; and his girlfriend Mara Lage and her daughter, Kayla Dias, of Milford MA.
Rob was the proud “godfather” to Griffin Burns & Jordan Kiley.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday (June 27th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (UPPER CHURCH), 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Monday (June 26th) from 5pm to 8pm.
