Milford Man Handed Over to ICE

By MyFM's Rick Michaels - A minor two-vehicle accident involving a Milford Police cruiser led to the arrest of Milford man yesterday who was eventually transferred to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Agency, otherwise known as “ICE”.  48-year old Antonio Barbosa of 173 Main Street is charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.  Barbosa’s vehicle struck a Milford Police cruiser outside his residence on Main Street at around 3:30 yesterday afternoon.  Barbosa pulled away from the scene but was stopped minutes later on South Bow Street where he was taken into custody.  Upon further investigation it was determined Barbosa had a National Crime Information Center warrant out for his arrest.  Milford Police turned him over to an “ICE” agent.  The vehicle he was driving is owned by a Framingham company High Gloss Painting Incorporated.
