By MyFM's Rick Michaels - At their meeting Monday night the Milford Board of Selectmen decided who would initially fill the seats and act as water commissioners as the town moves forward in its steps to purchase the Milford Water Company. Milford Selectmen choose residents Jonathan Bruce, Phil Ciaramicoli and Jamie Luchini. They’ll perform the duties associated with being a water commissioner until the spring when the three-member board will be voted in during the Town Election. The terms will be staggered so a candidate will determine if they would like to seek a one, two or three-year term on the Board of Water Commissioners. The town hopes to finalize the 63-million dollar purchase of the Milford Water Company by the end of the year. At the Special Town Meeting in two-weeks, town meeting members will decide on two articles, amending earlier votes this year to create a budget and establish rates of pay and hours of work for employees of the Milford Water Company.
