By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Medway School Committee is in need of filling a vacancy due to the resignation of one of its members who recently was approved for a judgeship in the Milford District Court. Richard Eustis is stepping down from his position on the Medway School Committee. The remaining members of the School Committee and the Board of Selectmen will need to choose a replacement at a joint meeting. The new School Committee member appointed will then remain in the position until the annual Town Election in May of next year when Medway residents will decide who will fill out the remainder of Eustis’ term, which expires in May of 2019. Any resident interested may apply by submitting a letter of interest and resume to the secretary of the Medway School Committee by December 7th. Eustis was nominated by Governor Charlie Baker and approved for the judgeship last month, formerly serving as the Milford District Courts’ first assistant Clerk Magistrate.
