By MyFM's Rick Michaels - The Route 109 Transportation Improvement project in Medway continues this week as we head to the July 4th long holiday weekend. The contractor says there will be one crew continuing to install drainage along Main Street/Route 109. This type of work has been ongoing for three to four weeks now. Another crew will be moving fire hydrants behind the new sidewalk line as the Medway Fire Department will be on scene. Firefighters will also be continuing to run new fire alarm wire and Verizon back once again moving wires all week to the new telephone poles. Motorists should be aware that travel along this stretch of Route 109 in Medway will result in some traffic delays all week.
