Medway Baseball Shuts Out Norton 4-0

By MyFM's Jake Archer - The Medway High School baseball team opened the season on the road with a 4-0 win over Norton in a Tri-Valley League game. Medway starting pitcher Sean Petinge threw a three-hit shutout while striking out three and walking two. It was a complete-game win for Petinge as he never needed another pitcher to come on in relief.

The Mustangs scored a run in the third, fourth, sixth and seventh innings. TJ Nelson went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs batted in and Zach Newman collected two hits and scored two runs.

Medway will move to 1-0 on the season and will face of with Westwood on Friday.
