Laurence Joseph Marsan, Jr., 59, of Uxbridge passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Monday July 3, 2017 while on vacation with his family. He was the cherished husband of Priscilla J. (Andrews) Marsan. Larry was born in 1958 the son of the late Laurence J., Sr. and Margaret V. (Buchanan) Marsan, and was a lifelong resident of Uxbridge. He was a man of faith whose life centered around his work, colleagues and friends, and most especially his family. Larry was a wise, kind, and generous man who loved and embraced others, making them feel welcome in his life.
In addition to his wife of nearly 37 years, he is survived by his devoted daughters Emily Beth Marsan Rosborough and her husband Thomas Paul Rosborough, Jr., and Lauren Jane Marsan Parker and her husband Todd Robert Parker all of Uxbridge; three precious grandsons Thomas Paul "Topper" Rosborough, III, Evan Bryce Rosborough, and Todd Earl-David "Tedy" Parker all of Uxbridge, and his beloved nephew Russell Marsan of VT. He also leaves his loving mother-in-law Nancy Andrews of Worcester, brothers and sisters-in-law, dear nieces and nephews, cousins and many colleagues and friends who all loved and respected him.
Larry built a distinguished and successful career in enterprise Information Technology spanning more than three decades with Data General, CLSI, Epoch Systems, EMC, Storage Networks, Praxis, IBRIX and most recently as Senior Director of Customer Engagement at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. He played a critical role in growing companies from nascent start-ups to some of the largest and most prestigious around the world. He was an industry leader who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
