John J. “Honey” Speroni Sr., 95, of Milford
  

John J. “Honey” Speroni Sr., 95, of Milford, passed away February 21, 2017 at the Blaire House of Milford. He was the husband of Nellie A. (Karakeian) Speroni for 69 years. He was born in Milford, son of the late Caesar and Lavinia (Sagocci) Speroni, and was a lifelong Milford resident. He was educated in the Milford schools. Mr. Speroni retired from the Milford Highway Dept. in 1987, where he was employed as a highway worker. He owned and operated Hill Top Bargains in Bellingham for many years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons, Richard Speroni and his wife Beverly of Riverside RI, Thomas Speroni and his wife Nanci of Milford, four grandchildren, Amie Speroni-Wilkins, Marc Speroni, Helayne Speroni and Christopher Speroni. 

He was predeceased by his son John J. Speroni Jr., two brothers, Robert Speroni, Ronald Speroni and one sister, Dorothy O’Donnell. 

Funeral services will be private and at the burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., Milford. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
