Jennie L. Hetu, 41, of Woonsocket, RI , formerly of Blackstone, MA passed away Fri. Sept. 2, 2016 in the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.
Ms. Hetu had been employed as a waitress at the Roast House Restaurant in Blackstone since 2008. Jennie was very close to her co-workers and felt that they were her second family.
Jennie was born June 24, 1975 in Milford the daughter of Arthur J. Hetu of Maine and Deborah J. (Elliott) Hontz of Blackstone. She had been a resident of Blackstone most of her life and had attended Blackstone High School.
Jennie was passionate about her family and loved her customers that she served at the Roast House Restaurant.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons, Christopher A. Hetu-Berube of N. Smithfield, RI, Anthony D. Warner of Woonsocket, RI, her longtime boyfriend, Jamie T. "Jay" Warner of Woonsocket, one sister, Amie J. Hetu and her nephew, Cory M. Hetu, both of Blackstone.
Visiting hours will be held Thurs. Sept. 15, 2016 from 5-8 PM in the BUMA SARGEANT FUNERALHOME, 42 Congress St., Milford.
Funeral services will be held Fri. Sept. 16, 2016 at 10 AM in the Union Evangelical Church, 25 Dutcher St., Hopedale.
