Frances A. Fletcher, 78, of Uxbridge

Frances A. Fletcher, 78, of Uxbridge and formerly of the Mission Hill section of Boston, died Sat. Sept. 23, 2017 at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge with her family at her side.

Franny was born Oct. 26, 1938 in Boston, a daughter of the late Kenneth N. and Frances M. (Maloney) Fletcher.  

She was a member of the Senior Connection in Boston and the Senior Enrichment Program in Douglas. She was an avid bingo player, bowler, a puzzle genius, enjoyed painting and was an accomplished artist. She was a longtime client of the Alternatives Unlimited Community Life of Whitinsville.

She is survived by two sisters; Elizabeth Crossman of Haverhill and Mary M. Foley of Whitinsville and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers; John H. Fletcher, Robert J. Fletcher Gerard P. Fletcher and Kenneth N. Fletcher.

Visiting hours will be Wed, Sept. 27, 2017 from 1-3 PM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 480 Church St., Whitinsville.

Funeral services will be held Thurs. Sept. 28, 2017 at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St., Whitinsville 01588.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
