Donald P. Fiske, 76, of Milford passed away Tues. April 25, 2017 in Blackstone Nursing Home, Blackstone with his family at his side. He was the husband of Maryann F. (Matkowski) Fiske.
Donald had been truck driver for Red Star Express for 33 years before retiring in 1990.
He was born September 30, 1940 in Milford, the son of the late Clifford and Loretta (Stebbins) Fiske and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Donald was a member of the Hopedale Pistol and Rifle Club and the Holliston Sportsman's Association. He enjoyed metal detecting, the beaches, traveling, gardening, and time spent with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Maryann, of 36 years, Donald is survived by two step-sons, Michael DeLuca of VT and David DeLuca of Uxbridge; one sisters, Lucille Brenna of Milford; and four grandchildren, Gina, Melissa, Wendy, and Michael Joseph DeLuca. He was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond Fiske and Robert Fiske.
Visiting hours will be private.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday April 28, 2017 at 11 AM in St. Mary's Church, 19 Winter St., Milford.
Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Vernon Grove Cemetery, Vernon St., Milford.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements under the direction of Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, Milford.
