By MyFM's Rick Michaels - Bellingham residents have two weeks left to take part in a town-wide economic development survey to have your voice heard as the town begins to strategize and plan for the town's future economic growth. The Town of Bellingham and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) are working together to create and Economic Development Strategy for the town and ultimately produce a unifying vision for Bellingham. The MAPC feels a vision is critical for understanding how best to approach industrial, commercial and mixed-use development coming into the town moving forward. There’s a link to the survey on the town's website. You'll need to fill it out by November 30th. In January, an Open House will be held to review the results of the survey and begin to create a shared understanding of the type of economic development plan for Bellingham in the years ahead.
