On Sunday of this past Labor Day Weekend, the grounds of The Tradesman in Milford was transformed once again into one of the biggest end of the summer, music festival celebrations. Hundreds of people visited the local tavern throughout the day enjoying music from nine local bands including Josh Briggs and Friends, JamBag, SOULidarity, Shanna Jackman & Not In Kansas, Bad Marriage, Tailgates Down, Charity Case, The Abe Froman Project and Tigerlily. Anzio’s Pizza and Wicked Twisted Pretzels out of Grafton and everyone’s favorite hot dog truck, Larry Joe’s New England Firepit, served local food.
“It’s really a celebration of all things local. Music, food, friends and family and charitable organizations,” explains co-organizer Ray Auger about the 4th annual event.
Co-organizer and Tradesman owner Rob DeDominic adds, “Every year we raise money for local charities and organizations. This year we were able to donate $1500 to both Cory’s Crusaders (pediatric brain cancer) and Milford Youth Football and Cheer.
The organizers of the event worked closely with Milford Police and Fire who always provide outstanding support and assistance so that everyone can enjoy a safe and fun-filled day. “We can’t thank Milford Police and Fire and our friends in town hall enough for helping us make this event more positive and beneficial to all involved each and every year”, added Auger.
