4th Annual CAP 5K Family Fun Trail Race

Wow! This will be our 4th Annual 5K & we hope to make it bigger & better than past years! Last year, we had over 500 people attend!

We hope you will join us in spreading awareness for Alopecia! Walkers, runners and families welcome!

All proceeds benefit the Childrens Alopecia Project. The money goes towards things for the kids such as Alopeciapalooza, camps, get togethers, meetings, resources & so much more.

The race will once again be held at beautiful Adams Farm in Walpole MA. There will be a shorter kids race, 5K, refreshments, kids activities & much more.

Please be advised, that the race is on a trail, so strollers could be very difficult. Dogs are welcome at Adams Farm!
All proceeds benefit the Childrens Alopecia Project. Visit

Often times "it's just hair," is someone's first reaction towards someone dealing with Alopecia. Though people later see, it's much more than just hair. It's a child's self esteem, confidence & pride. Some children are embarrassed, even ashamed by it.
Alopecia is an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss & it affects all ages. Alopecia is not life threatening, but life changing. As kids are beginning to gain identities & strengthen their self esteem, they wonder why this is happening to them & must learn how to cope.

There is no cure or treatment for Alopecia. Any options out there are not FDA approved & have many side effects often "worse" then Alopecia itself. What works for one may not work for others. Even after "treatment" is tried, the hair loss often times occurs again.
